01454 413561Reliable sealed product packaging is critical to prevent contamination and spills and ensure product integrity during transportation. Issues such as packaging material compatibility, sealing machine setup and contamination are factors that can affect the packaging seal reliability. Package testing in a vacuum environment is a useful way of determining the integrity of product packaging. Package leak testing can be used in the following industries.

Our ACB Package Testing Chambers are compliant with ASTM D3078-02 and ISO 20484 testing standards.
Please note, this leak test method can only identify a leak, but cannot quantify the leak rate.
All of our acrylic chambers are annealed to reduce stresses built up during the manufacturing process, they are then pressure tested to 1×10-2mbar and helium leak tested. They can be supplied as chamber only, or full kits including vacuum pump.
A range of vacuum pumps and accessories are available.
We can also manufacture custom size acrylic chambers to your specification.
